Ways of Wild Foods | 5 Day Summer Camp
Ways of Wild Foods | 5 Day Summer Camp
Monday, June 8 - Friday, June 12, 2026
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Our traditional week long Ways of the Wild day camp designed for children ages 6-12 years of age, just more cooking. Children will experience one of our new camps this Summer, Ways of Wild Foods! A book that Coyote Teacher Kelly has always enjoyed is Billie Joe Tatum’s Wild Food Cookbook… So we are going wild with food this week! Cooking over the fire is a favorite at our camps so this new camp will focus on wild food wanders, identifying, harvesting, making whatever is in season in the forest that week. Soups, teas, wild flower popsicles, collecting duck eggs, pancakes and making dishes over the fire. This is going to be fun! Of course we will enjoy our favorite games and play time in the water as well. Don’t want to miss this new adventure!
Our Coyote Teachers are naturally gifted and specially trained leaders. We base our trainings on the teachings of Grandfather Stalking Wolf, an Apache Elder. For more info on Coyote Teachers click here.
