Step into the tranquility of the forest and reconnect with your inner balance through the gentle art of Tai Chi. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of rustling leaves and flowing water, this class invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and move in harmony with nature.

Rooted in ancient Chinese wisdom, Tai Chi is a meditative practice that blends graceful movements, mindful breathing, and focused intention. Each session is designed to reduce stress, enhance flexibility, improve balance, and nurture spiritual well-being. As you flow through each posture, you’ll cultivate a sense of grounding and presence, aligning your energy with the natural rhythms of the earth.

Whether you are new to Tai Chi or an experienced practitioner, this class offers a welcoming and restorative experience for all levels.

**In the case of inclement weather, participants will be notified via email by 6 AM on the morning of the experience. The canceled experience cost will not be refunded, but may be used as a credit to another Tai Chi class or any other Experience offered by BRFE.

About Josh:

Josh began his martial arts training at the age of nine, building a strong foundation in Tai Chi, Wing Chun, and Qigong under Master Randy K. Li from 2001 to 2017.

In 2006, he expanded his path into meditation and personal transformation through Conscious Transformation, studying extensively with Joey Klein and Si Maa through 2017. This work deepened his understanding of the mind-body connection and internal development.

In 2015, Josh began training with Diane Breneman and Si Maa through Meditative Sciences, focusing on emotional development and how emotions manifest within the body—an area that continues to influence his teaching today.

Josh earned his energy certification in 2009 and graduated from Pinnacle Career Institute in 2010, where he received his NSCA certification in personal training. He later became certified in Clear Tai Chi in 2025.

Since opening his own school in 2007, Josh has spent over 15 years teaching classes, workshops, and programs throughout the Kansas City area, helping students cultivate strength, balance, and inner peace.
