The Art of Community & Self-Awareness Experience is a weekend of connection, presence, nourishing food, and nature.

Self-awareness: The observation of oneself and the relationship one has with everything else. Community: Everything else. The practice is to be completely present. The outcome is a naturally occurring peaceful loving and compassionate world. Come enjoy this life-changing and empowering weekend of presence, healing, connection, food and nature! This weekend is an introduction into living well and thriving. A microcosm of the beautiful world that is to come for future generations.

Something special: We provide nourishing freshly prepared meals that are intended to take care of all of your energy needs for this event. Our head chef Loran Van Benthusen specializes in plant-based energetic lively food and has mastered creating incredible healthy and delicious meals for large groups.

We will guide you through the experience, allow you to be fully present and enjoy every moment of this magical weekend of connection, introspection, and remembering. The expertise of our staff, the activities we offer to create this experience and with your attendance, we are able to create a beautiful weekend of medicine for you, for us and for the world!

Experience Details:

The age range for this experience is 18+. To make an exception for mature teens ages 13-17 contact us with the email below.

Arrival:

This program is 3 days. On the first day, Friday, September 13th @ 4pm, Registration will take place next to the pond.

Departure:

This class ends Sunday, September 15th @ 12pm.

Shelter:

Participants in this class will be sleeping in a personal tent outside. Note that most of the class will be held outside. Bring everything you need to stay warm and comfortable while being outside. Check the recommended gear list below for ideas on warm clothing, the degree of sleeping bag needed and other items to bring. It will be Fall weather!

Water:

There will be 2 indoor bathrooms to be used by students one is in close proximity to the tenting area and the other is in the dining area. The sink in either of these bathrooms or in the kitchen during meal times will be used to fill water bottles.

Food:

Food is an essential and big part of this class. Our head chef Loran Van Benthusen specializes in plant-based energetic lively food and has mastered creating incredible healthy and delicious meals for large groups. Nourishing freshly prepared meals will be provided for this gathering. A variety of flavors of hot tea will be served when needed. The food provided is intended to nourish and provide for all your energy needs for the weekend. Yum!

Cost of Attendance:

The Standard cost is $158. The Last Minute Decision $180. There are two donation options to help cover costs for the class. One is for anyone who would like to donate $20 and help the class happen. The other $238 is for attendees that can afford to pay the true price of this class.

Your payment acts as your spot in the class. Space is limited to a maximum of 18 participants!
There will be no refunds unless The Art of Community & Self-Awareness Experience event is canceled.

Directions for Parking:

Drive to the end of Antioch until you see 3 red signs and turn left onto the gravel road. Parking will be located on the right starting from the purple trash bin until the drain pipe that comes out of the center of the pond. Park facing the farm field.
